Eligibility

People who can serve on the committee include:

• City of San Rafael residents with disabilities or their family members
• People who live in San Rafael and work with or support people with disabilities in Marin County
• San Rafael residents, property owners, or business owners with experience or connections to organizations focused on accessibility or disability issues
• One member who represents the San Rafael business community

The ADA Access Advisory Committee advises the City of San Rafael on disability policies and accessibility issues. It connects people with disabilities, service agencies, government representatives, and the community to share information and improve access.

Members reflect a wide range of disabilities, cultures, and genders, representing the diversity of the disability community. The committee works closely with the City to support inclusion and accessibility for all residents.
